Dana Redwing Tucker has an extensive litigation background. Whether it's in State Court, Federal Court, or the Court of Appeals, Dana is well respected among opposing counsel and the judiciary. During her twenty plus years as a trial attorney, she has defended two of the Country's top hospitals against claims of personal injury and medical negligence as well as numerous major pharmaceutical companies. From 2009 to 2016 Dana took a leave of absence from Fox Smith to fulfill an appointment by the former Missouri Attorney General as his Chief Counsel for the Eastern Region of Missouri. During that period, she continued her work in the courtroom defending the state of Missouri, it agencies and employees. Dana has also shared her litigation experience as an adjunct professor instructing second and third year law students on pre-trial procedures, mediation and arbitration.
In addition to her courtroom experience, Dana has spoken on legal topics relating to employment law, client development, trial strategies, time management and women in the legal profession. Dana is a member of numerous professional organizations including Mound City Bar, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The St. Louis County Bar Association, The Women's Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute (DRI). She currently serves as a Disciplinary Hearing Officer for the Missouri Bar.
In her spare time, Dana is an advocate for youth and her community. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for The St. Louis Children's Choirs (SLCC), The Center of Creative Arts (COCA) and United Way of Greater St. Louis.
Dana is currently on the Board of Directors of St. Louis Children’s Choir and the Center of Creative Arts (COCA). She has been active in Read Across America, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Jack & Jill of America, Links, Inc., the Pattonville School District Improvement Council, and Pattonville Heights Middle School PTO. Dana was an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law 2004-2009.
