Herbert Hardimon v. American River Transportation Company, LLC

  • Fox Smith
  • March 20, 2024

On March 19, 2024, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit affirmed the District Court’s dismissal of a general maritime law personal injury claim against American River Transportation Company (ARTCO) on the grounds that ARTCO did not owe a duty of care to the plaintiff, an employee of SCF Lewis and Clark.  A copy of the opinion is available (click here).

Congratulations to Ted Lucas, Aaron Sherman, and Stas Levchinsky on this excellent result.
