The Fox Smith Marine Team is comprised of attorneys with over sixty years’ experience defending and representing marine interests in state and federal courts throughout the country. These cases are often in jurisdictions difficult for marine defendants.  Our clients include towing companies, fleeting and harbor services, barge owners, fleeters, dry dock and terminal operators, shipyards, marine construction companies, and marine underwriters and insurance brokers. We are frequently retained to board vessels or go to accident sites to conduct on-the-spot investigations for incidents involving serious personal injuries, fatalities, or high dollar property damage. We have significant experience dealing successfully with the United States Coast Guard, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the United States Department of Justice.  We are available 24/7/365 for all such maritime emergencies.
