Asselmeier, Courtney

Courtney Asselmeier joined Fox Smith’s Admiralty and Maritime practice group in the summer of 2026, bringing nearly a decade of legal experience, with a primary concentration in civil litigation. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Southwestern Illinois College and began her career as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm in her hometown. Courtney later joined a Belleville, Illinois firm, where she spent nearly seven years serving as both a legal assistant and litigation paralegal. Her practice experience includes plaintiff representation as well as asbestos and mass tort defense matters.
