Patty joined Fox Smith, LLC in 2023, bringing almost 40 years of experience in the legal industry. Prior to joining the firm, she served in office administration and operations leadership roles for a prominent St. Louis defense firm for over three decades, where she oversaw a wide range of administrative, operational, and firm management functions.
A dedicated leader within the legal management community, Patty has been an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) for more than 25 years. Throughout her involvement, she has volunteered extensively in leadership and service roles both at the local chapter and national levels, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to advancing the legal profession and supporting fellow legal administrators.
Patty earned the Certified Legal Manager (CLM®) designation in 2012, reflecting her expertise in law firm management and operations. In 2023, she also became certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid USA, further demonstrating her commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy workplace environment.
Patty earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2001 and her Associate of Applied Science degree with highest honors in Paralegal Studies from Belleville Area College (k/n/a Southwestern Illinois College) in 1997. Her dedication to professional excellence, leadership and service has made her a respected member of both the legal and legal management communities.
